Sommelier program
Sommelier - Introductory
A standalone wine and beverage course that lasts for 16 weeks, with 8 course sessions at one of Scandinavian Wine Academys venues. The instructor-led training time is approximately 60 hours but also requires additional self-study.
The Introductory sommelier program concludes with a written exam. Upon passing the exam, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your newly acquired knowledge.
Sommelier - Certified
Advanced-level training following the Introductory program, lasting approximately 30 weeks with 13 course sessions at one of Scandinavian Wine Academys venues. The instructor-led training time is around 100 hours but also requires additional self-study.
The Certified sommelier program concludes with a written exam, wine and food in combination and a blind tasting. Upon passing, you will earn the title of Certified Sommelier. You will receive Scandinavian Wine Academy's diploma, a golden pin, and an apron with your name embroidered in gold.
